Erica Mayo

I bring over 15 years of experience serving diverse communities through healthcare and public service, with a strong focus on helping individuals navigate often complex systems with clarity, respect, and compassion.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported patients across a variety of settings. I previously worked with the Tri-County Health Department in the Senior Dental Clinic, where I assisted with registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and Medicaid and Medicare benefits. Prior to that, I spent over a decade with Strive Health Clinic (formerly MCPN) as an Outreach Enrollment Specialist, helping individuals and families access federal and state healthcare coverage. I also had the privilege of working closely with the HIV/AIDS community, supporting patients in securing essential health benefits, work that was both meaningful and deeply impactful.

My approach is rooted in meeting people where they are. I strive to create an experience where patients feel supported, understood, and confident as they move through their care. Navigating healthcare can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to make that process more approachable and seamless.
