ABOUT

Hello and welcome! My name is Abbey Carroll. I am a local to Colorado and left only briefly to complete my nursing degree in Oklahoma before moving back to the area. I have over 10 years of nursing experience in various positions and settings. While working extensively with adults of all ages, I found a passion in the mental health field. I have a deep interest in integrative care and believe that mental health must be addressed from multiple fronts. 

I became a nurse practitioner to improve understanding of mental health care within the community which nurtured my own growth. Throughout my career, it has become clear there is an air of uncertainty in how to approach or treat psychiatric needs. I hope to diminish the frustration this can cause. I support those with depression, bipolar depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, grief, and insomnia. 

I strive to develop a nonjudgmental, educational, and empowering partnership with my patients to guide them through their healing journey. I believe that providers and patients should work together to identify goals of care and treatment options that will work best for them. 

FUN FACT

When not working, my husband and I act as chaos coordinators to our children and three dogs. My free time is filled with reading, podcasts, crafting, baking, and occasional mountain adventures.
